Linkedin is the number one online professional network. Facebook is much bigger, but it has a focus on friends and family, while Linkedin is focused on business. Microsoft recently bought Linkedin as part of building their business portfolio. When you think of Linkedin, focus on your online brand. The first steps to building your brand on Linkedin are:

Go to www.Linkedin.com
Fill out your first name
Fill out your last name
Fill out your email address (make sure it’s one you can access and check regularly)
Create a password (at least 6 characters)
Click “Join Now”
